In order to understand traffic flows and congestion causes at the Paris airport, we analysed the impact of road network operations by providing insights that facilitated the implementation of a new configuration. Our targeted strategies to prevented congestion, optimised drop-off zones, and enhanced the overall passenger experience through reduced waiting times.

Through analysising anonymized data from the two major micro-mobility operators in Helsinki, Tier and Voi, we monitored the interactions between public transport and shared mobility to consult the city for the suitable locations of mobility hubs.

BVG’s Jelbi team is using Vianova’s platform to plan 150 parking zones and parking-order mobility hubs across the capital to link public transport and shared mobility better. The platform enabled them to access long-term historical analysis of e-scooter parking, identify locations for new mobility hubs, and monitor the performance of existing hubs. For example which hubs have been the most popular in the past few months, or how occupation compares during summer to winter.

We analysed over 28 million data points and more than 19,000 roads and intersections to create a risk score. Like this we were able to identify the spots with the highest risks, beyond historic collisions, in order to prioritise interventions, add new traffic calming and multimodal improvements.
